The current line up for the band is Courtney Love(Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Micko Larkin(Lead Guitar), Shawn Dailey(Bass) and Stu Fisher(Drums/Percussion). In 1994 the album Live Through This was said to be one of the greatest albums of the decade.

Love always joked about the name of the band Hole when her ex husband Kurt Cobain said it was his favourite bar. In 1992 with an eight-album contract they signed with Geffen Records. Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born on February 20, 1988 in Saint Michael, Barbados and at the age 16 she moved to the United States to record her career as a singer with record producer Evan Rogers and eventually signed a contract with Def Jam Recordings.

In 2005 Rihanna released her debut studio album Music of the Sun that peaked at #10 on the Billboard 200 charts and was featured on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2006 she released her second studio album A Girl Like Me that also peaked at the top 5 on Billboard 200 and in 2007 she released her third studio album Good Girl Gone Bad that peaked #2 on the Billboard charts that won nine Grammy Awards and won the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for the song “Umbrella.” Her forth studio album Rated R peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 charts. Rihanna has had six number-one singles on the Hot 100 chart which was the most for a female singer since the 2000 decade. A Latino American hip hop group from South Gate, California that was formed in 1988 will be in Toronto. Calling Dr. Green Thumb! Cypress Hill will be at the Sound Academy on Thursday, August 5th at 8 PM. This club is going to be a rockin’ the walls because these tickets are sellin’ fast. The band consists of head rapper B-Real, DJ and producer DJ Muggs, drummer and Latin percussionist Eric Bobo and rapper Sen Dog.

HISTORY
In 1989 after recording a demo; Cypress Hill signed with record company Columbia Records. Their first self-titled album was released in 1991 where the lead single that doubled A-side The Phuncky Feel One/How I Could Just Kill A Man received many airplay and college radio. The other two singles Hand On The Pump and Latin Lingo became very successful which led them to sell over two million copies in the United States alone. Cypress Hills second album, Black Sunday became #1 on the Billboard 200 charts of 1993 and the single from the album Insane In The Brain was a crossover hit that went triple platinum in the U.S. and sold about 3.25 million copies. In 1994 Rolling Stone named Cypress Hill the best rap group and in 1995 their third album III: Temples of Boom sold over 1.5 million copies and also reached #3 on the Billboard 200 charts. In 1998 they released IV which went gold in the States and in 2000 they released the two disc album Skull & Bones that reached #5 on the Billboard 200 and became #3 in Canada. In 2009 Cypress Hill decided to use a different record label instead of Sony Music and in April of this year Cypress Hill released their 8th studio album Rise Up where they plan on touring this year.

Brad Douglas Paisley was born October 28th, 1972 and is an American country music singer-songwriter and country guitarist that will be in Toronto July 22nd at the Molson Amphitheatre starting at 4 pm. Brad’s music style is in between Southern and Country rock and most of his songs are laced with a bit of humour and pop culture. In 2008 Brad became the CMA and ACM Male Vocalist of the Year winner and the release with the 1999 album Who Needs Pictures he has recorded seven studio albums with each of them certifying gold or higher by the RIAA. Brad has charted 25 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts and out of 14 of those they have reached #1 with a record 10 consecutive singles reaching the top spot on the charts.

After Brad was awarded with a full-paid ASCAP scholarship from Belmont University he signed a songwriting contract with EMI Music Publishing.
