American reggae fusion band from Long Beach, California which was formed in 1988 will be coming to T.Dot. You betcha! Sublime with Rome will be at the Kool Haus on Friday, August 20 at 7:00 PM. Tickets are not only cheap, but they are selling like no tomorrow and if you were smart you would get them today. The Sublime line up consists of Eric Wilson(Bass), Bud Gaugh(Drums) and newest member Rome Ramirez(Vocals/Guitar). The older vocalist and guitarist, Bradley Nowell died of a heroin over dose in 1996 – which split the band up.

Since the formation of Sublime in 1988 they have released three studio albums, one live album, five compilation albums, three EPs and one box set. In 1992 when they released 40 Oz. to Freedom it became fairly popular, but they did not become a commercial success until 1996 with their self-titled third album which was released after Nowell’s death making the album peak at #13 on the Billboard 200. As of 2009 Sublime is known for selling over 17 million albums worldwide which includes about 10 million in the States alone. With the newest member of the band Rome – after performing in 2009 at Cypress Hill‘s Smoke Out Festival a judge banned the lineup for using the Sublime name, making the new band perform as Sublime with Rome.
