Did you hear Lenzr is evolving?

These past couple of months Lenzr has been doing some initial upgrades to the website and are excited to show it off to you. The photo contests will be returning in September with a new voting system. How it goes is that instead of being eligible to vote on the first day in the month of the contest starting, you will now only be allowed to vote on the twentieth day of the contest being live. Although contestants must wait to vote on other photographs, members are still able to submit their pictures for viewing. The Lenzr Admin will set a specific date for when the voting should begin, which will be about ten days before the end of the contest.

Lenzr has now officially become a race…..GO!

Most of you probably capture conflict in your every day life regardless of it being from the lens or your own two eyes. A few months back PartyAftermath wrote about a photo contest on Lenzr about Everyday Tangled Web which was a fairly popular contest seeing how most homes in the GTA are a jungle mixed up mess. After the contest was over with the company who sponsored the prize, S.E. Telecom became fairly inspired by the thought and how a lot of business telecommunication companies go through disastrous mix ups day in and day out.

Saying this they became interested in making a video The Wall of Shame that was dedicated to tangled webs in everyday situations.

If my office area was in this situation I do not know what I would do.

Now a days everything seems to be getting universal and we as people tend to take pictures of the world around us each and every day. Here at Lenzr we appreciate those who take the time in their day to take photographs of the every day life because we as busy working  people do not have enough time to take in what you as photographers see through the lens. Lenzr keeps getting more generous each contest and it is up to you shutter bugs to keep pushing these photo contests to the next level. Just a reminder when submitting your works that it is not necessarily the quality of  your photograph, but how many friends & family vote and comment on your picture. The Crowded Places photo contest on Lenzr is already jammed packed with over a dozen photographs and we still want more. Every day each and everyone one of us get caught up in these crowds even if it is going to or from work, at a bar or even in a local park; either way we cannot stand them, but I am sure we do have lots of pictures of them. Lenzr is destine for this contest to get more popular seeing how we cross paths with crowds every day; we want to see fans at a hockey game, traffic at rush hour or even crowds in China town. Will Webb at the computer

Here is a picture of Will Webb, the CEO of Innate Media Group and creator of Party Aftermath.  On Thursday Feb 4th 2010 he was busy lending technical support and answering the tough questions in a ground breaking discussion at the National Yacht Club in downtown Toronto in which Rob Campbell of Smojoe entertained guests with insightful glimpses into the convoluted world of a modern social media marketing firm.
