One of the hottest new musicians in today’s sweat music society is coming to Toronto! American singer-songwriter and musician Katy Perry is coming to the Molson Amphitheatre on July 26th, 2009 at the all ages show and I was quick to scoop up a pair of concert tickets online to attend this show.

I’m certain that because Katy is relatively new to the music scene, she will brighten up the stage while thousands of her fans will come to see her perform live because they haven’t had this opportunity before.

Katy Perry had a stuggle with record labels and finally in 2007 she was recognized after the song ‘Ur So Gay’ was put over the internet. In 2008 she released her first successful album ‘One of the Boys’ which included the songs ‘I Kissed A Girl’ & ‘Hot N Cold’ that won 3-time platinum awards in the US. The album has sold over 800,000 copies in the United States to date. Katy Also was nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance of 2009.

Katy is a new musician, but she has already come a long way, and her career has a long way to go!

Aerosmith was formed in 1970 and in 1972 they were signed to Columbia Records where they recorded numerous of albums. By the late 1970′s they were with many popular rock bands and developed a huge following of fans. In the early 80′s two of the band members had drug addiction resulting in a vacation for the band. The release of their come back albums ‘Pump’ in 1989, ‘Get a Grip’ in 1993 and ‘Nine Lives’ in 1997 were considered to be one of the most outrageous comebacks of a band in rock n’ roll history.

ZZ Top was formed in 1969 where the same band members still consist today; Gibbons (Vocals/Guitar), Hill (Vocals/Bass/Keyboards) and Beard (Drums/Percussion). Gibbons is known as the finest blues guitarist while Hill and Beard provide the rhythm support.
